A new survey from Family Mobile has found that more people than ever would be interested in switching from their contract to a pay as you go scheme, in order to reduce debt during the credit crunch.
36% of consumers who are currently signed up to a contract said they would have already looked into pay as you go alternatives had they not been tied into their current deal.
Recently, the high profile network providers such as Orange, 02 and Vodafone have only been willing to offer 18 month contracts in a bid to secure customers for as long as possible.
