IVAs still increasing - the same old story

The government have released findings that show the number of people taking out IVAs to help solve their critical debt problems is still increasing.

According to new figures, the second quarter of 2007 saw a steady rise in the number of personal insolvencies with just under 27,000 of those people taking on an Individual Voluntary Arrangement.

The numbers represent a 4.2% rise on the figures from the same quarter of last year, despite the negative press the procedure received at the end of last year.
