Escalating fuel bills are pushing more and more people into personal bankruptcy according to the CAB (Citizens Advice Bureaux), and the group want the government to step in.
Fees for fuel have fallen into the spotlight in a year that has seen increased mortgage repayments destroy many peoples financial plans.
In a statement, the CAB commented: "We would like to see much more investment in services to help people claim benefits and grants to improve their income and energy efficiency."
