Some pensioners in the UK could avoid debt problems simply by claiming the money they're owed by the government according to Citizens Advice.
Four out of ten pensioners in Britain don't claim their full pension credit which allows them to top up the basic pension they're given by the government.
Teresa Perchard from the CAB commented that £2.5 billion went unclaimed in 2005 alone, adding, "Too many pensioners are missing out on money that is rightfully theirs".
