The Daily Telegraph have offered debt reduction help by telling consumers how they can reduce their petrol costs without having to change vehicles.
Better car maintenance such as inflating the tyres and checking the oil levels as well as driving slower can reduce the amount of fuel the average car uses.
The newspaper also advised consumers to plan their trips to avoid traffic so they don't have to stop and start as much, which eats up more petrol.
