Debt management plans are still not being made by many British consumers, as financial problems remain a concern.
The Debt Counsellors have published its annual UK debt survey 2007, which shows that 65 per cent of people seeking financial help had been unprepared for hard times.
The group recommends that people include the likelihood of future hardship in their current approach to debt management.
