The Sunday Times has offered consumers debt help in the form of advice on how to generate extra cash by using their homes.
The newspaper say that renting out rooms, house swapping on holidays and charging people to park on your drive can help generate extra cash to beat the credit crunch.
However, Michael Holmes from Move or Improve Magazine who helped compile the advice for the Times commented that this would only really help people living in high density areas.
