Cost of living increases mean more debt problems

The Post Office say that the ever increasing cost of living means that consumers have no chance to save money and avoid debt problems in the future.

With many people struggling to keep their head above water with their personal finances anyway, higher bills and household expenses means that they have no extra cash to put away each month.

Director of savings at the Post Office, Richard Norman warned: "In times of economic uncertainty, it's more important than ever to try and put money away."
