The latest news from IVA advice website Iva-information-centre.org.uk has stated that new bill could mean that bailiffs could gain entry by force.
As little as one missed repayment could mean that bailiffs can force their way into homes in order to confiscate possessions. The Citizens Advice service are planning to implement action to prevent bailiffs being given such powers.
Recent studies have found bailiffs to be guilty of harassment and charging excessive fees.
